Baking was one of your favorite hobbies. You would bake almost all the time-when you were sad, happy, angry, or even lonely. It came naturally to you, and anyone who tried your food was amazed by the amount of care you put into making it. So, when your best friend Antonio said he was flying back from visiting some friends in Spain, you just knew that you had to bake him something. But what? The idea came to you quickly-you would make him some homemade tacos, and for desert you would make churros. Toni always got a little heartsick when he came back from Spain, and nothing would make him feel better than some good food.
You arranged a night where both of you would just get together and spend the day doing absolutely nothing as usual, and you made sure to get all the ingredients. You even went as far as researching tons of recipies for churros and tacos.
Before Antonio showed up, the tacos had already been made and you were working on the batter for the churros.
''Hola, chica! I missed you!'' Toni said cheerfully when he showed up at your door. He looked good as ever, dressed in comfortable jeans and a loose fitting T-shirt.
''I missed you too, Toni! How was your visit?'' You asked happily as he pulled ou in for a hug. He smelled like warmth and spices, and it was very relaxing. You didn't really want to let go. To be honest, Antonio would always have your heart, even if he didn't exactly know it yet.
''It was fun, but I wish you had gone with me. You should come next time, chica.'' Toni said as you two finally parted. You just shrugged, trying to ignore the flaming feeling spreading across your cheeks.
''I don't know anything about Spain. It would be so weird. Plus, you're my friend. Don't you think that's a little strange?'' You invited him in and instantly he smelled the familiar aroma of well seasoned meat.
''Are you making tacos, (your name)?'' He wondered casually, trying to change the subject.
''Y-yeah. You always come back from there so sad...I thought maybe it would cheer you up and help you to not miss it so much.'' You admitted.
''This was very thoughtful. Gracias.'' Antonio gave you a heart warming smile and placed his hand on your cheek. You flushed bright red-probably as red as the tomatoes you had finished slicing not so long ago.
''T-Toni, I might need your help with the churros. I can't get the batter just right.'' You wanted so desperately for him to stop making you vulnerable. His touch was making you weak in the knees.
''Cute, chica. You look like a little tomate.'' Antonio laughed as your blush deepened.
''Are you gonna help me or not?'' You asked impatiently.
''Si, of course.'' He nodded. The two of you got to work, fixing up the batter and he helped you to fry some of the churros to perfection. Then, unexpectedly, your hand whacked the batter bowl when you turned too fast and the thick, sugary dough came toppling to the ground with a horrid clang.
''Oh, no! I'm so clumsy! I'm so sorry, Toni.'' You apologized quickly, picking up the bowl and gasping at all your hard work laying on the floor in a doughy pile.
''Senorita, it's okay. Don't be upset. We got some of them done already, and really, you didn't have to do all of this for me.'' Antonio helped you scrape up the dough from the tiled floor.
''I'm just so frustrated. You're always so sad when you come home, and I thought this would help...but this time you don't even seem sad. Why is that?'' You frowned, realizing how odd his behavior was. Normally for him, Toni would sulk for days on end until he got accustomed to being in the USA. For some reason, though he seemed different this time.
''Well....I suppose that's because I got to see you straight away this time. Usually I come home and you don't invite me over. I hardly even see you when I get back. You're the one who always seems sad, chica.'' Antonio's green eyes captured yours and he just gazed at you unflinchingly for a moment.
''I'm not sad! I am so happy to see you! I just don't know how to handle it, I guess. It's hard for me when you leave, although I don't really know why.'' You looked away from him. Antonio smiled brightly, and although his hands were still covered by the churro dough, he slowly grabbed your chin and made you look at him. The instant your eyes connected, it was like sparks of electricity were being generated.
''T-Toni...''You mumbled softly before he silenced you by pressing his lips against yours. Almost instantly, you lost yourself in the kiss and you leaned forward, wrapping your arms around his shoulders. Antonio's hands wandered down your body before he broke the kiss, leaving both of you panting for air.
''It's hard for me, too...because, you see...Te amo, (your name).'' Toni smirked before taking handful of dough and smearing it across your face.
''TONI!'' You yelled, pushing him back down onto the floor and grabbing some of the dough yourself before rubbing it in his face. By the time the two of you were done wrestling with pre-baked churros, you were both covered in dough and there wasn't a single drop on the floor.
''We should really get to eating those tacos before they get cold.'' You sighed, finally calming down your giggles.
''We had better clean up before we do anything else, si?'' Antonio laughed loudly, admiring the cute pout on your face.
''Alright, if we must.'' You groaned, getting up and starting to wipe off the dough from your face. You snatched one of the fully baked churros and nibbled on it, wanting to at least try one.
''Do you like them?'' Toni wondered.
''Of course I do. I made them perfectly.''
''We made them perfectly, chica.'' He snorted, giving you a peck on the lips. He continued giving you this weird look halfway between a grin and a smirk when he pulled away.
''What?'' You frowned.
''You taste like churros. It's very sexy.'' Antonio admitted before kissing you again, stealing your breath away. Let's just say, cleaning up all the dough from your bodies was the best part of the evening.

You had cut your hair too short to be pulled back into a ponytail, but too long to be kept off your neck and face. You groaned as you headed back outside to where Miriam’s truck was parked, the back filled with the objects the two of you had to move in. You two had recently moved into this apartment complex after the two of you had finally gotten jobs that could help the both of you move out of your parents’ homes—and it had only taken seven months. Miriam had been luckier than you.
“Think about it positively,” Miriam huffed as she pulled out a heavy box. “One day of torture is worth it. We don’t liv

It was Friday and you waited patiently for your Spanish boyfriend, Antonio. Ever since he confessed his huge love to you, every Friday he would come to your house to spend every single bit of his time with you. You two would watch movies, cook and other entertaining stuffs. You loved the dark haired guy very much and you woud go on a killing rampage if some girl would stole him, but of course that was just a joke that you used to show your love.
You heard a knock on the door and went over to open it. It was Antonio with a very happy grin on his face. The way he smiled brighted your days and melted your heart on the plate of heaven.

“Goddamn it!” You shrilled, his hand gripping at yours in a rough manner as he tugged you along a snowy street in Minsk. “Nikolai! Where are you taking me?!”
He bit his bottom lip before looking down at you through clear near blue eyes. That’s something you figured out just recently. His eye color had the tendency to change colors, depending solely on his mood, though this time around, you couldn't tell what he was thinking or feeling for he kept a steady face. Turing suddenly, he began walking down stairs, to the subway you figured for you remember him tell you that his city did have a subway system.
